Gatekeeper Access Control Unit
This surface mounted device verifies access rights to restricted areas by reading EPDs. Gatekeeper can be fully integrated, with whole-body monitors, turnstiles and door entry systems, or wall mounted. Indoor use only.

The Gatekeeper is used to verify access rights before opening turnstiles to allow ingress to restricted areas. The units read data from the EPD which is used to perform the verification. No external network or connectivity is required.
The Gatekeeper unit is intended to be mounted either standalone, or surface mounted within another device. The unit has terminal connectors to allow third party integration with relay operated turnstiles or security systems and will require a supply of 12VDC*
The Gatekeeper can interface with a turnstile or door entry system using Relay, RS232, or Keyboard emulation.
The ring of lights on the front show the device status, and change colour to show the worker whether access is granted or denied. There is also a sounder which can be configured to beep.
*The Gatekeeper requires installation by a qualified technician or integrator.
