Making the invisible, visible.

Step by step walk through of the RadSightLive System.

The RadSight Live system is simple to use and easy to install. It can operate stand alone or integrate with your existing network. Our team is ready to help you get started and configure the system according to your specifications.

Step 1:
Assignment Terminal

The assignment terminal is used to assign individual dosimeters. Each team member takes a dosimeter from the storage rack and places it in a reader slot. The screen prompts for an identity and an activity and then the dosimeter is prepared and issued to that person.

Dosimeter assignment

This process can be used to link the dose measurements to a particular person and to the activity or procedure being performed. This allows alarm levels to be tailored to the expected radiation levels. As the dose readings are linked to each person, these readings can easily be accessed and reviewed later to help adjust procedures to minimize radiation dose exposure.

STEP 2: TRUDOSE™ EPD (DOSIMETER)

Clip the dosimeter on and make sure it’s with you when working with therapies involving radiation.

Monitor exposure

The dosimeter should be worn outside any protective clothing such as lead vests etc. This is so that the radiation incident on the body can be monitored. Be aware that arms, face and neck are likely to be exposed even when wearing protection.

The dosimeter will be automatically switched on and set to transmit by the software.

Step 3:
RadSight Live Display

The live dose rate is shown on a graphical display in the operating room or lab.

graphical display and warnings

The dosimeter measurements are shown as bars on a graphical display where the bars shows the dose rate for each person. As preset alarm thresholds are reached the bars change colour from green to yellow to red. This allows the team to see instantly when acceptable dose rate levels are being exceeded.

Step 4:
Historical Data Chart

Live data and historical data can be viewed from any computer on the network.

Analyse

Charts of dose and dose rate can be viewed by selecting from a list of procedures performed which is sorted by date and time. Details of the dose exposure of each individual can be analysed by zooming and panning the data on the chart.
